As a renter, you are responsible for items you store at Oxford Storage Solutions and the insurance to cover those items. In some cases, your belongings may be covered under your homeowner’s or renter’s insurance policy however, your home or renter’s insurance policy could exclude some hazards and might limit the amount of coverage you for items stored outside your home. Contact your insurance company or agent to find out exactly what your policy includes and verify that the items you will be storing are on your policy and that the policy still applies when they are moved offsite. If it’s not sufficient, a self-storage insurance policy would supplement your existing coverage for a small monthly fee. We offer affordable self-storage insurance options at the facility.
